So I’m fixing my squeaky subfloor NOW to save my sanity before installing tile.

Secure the subfloor with screws first.

I’ve never done this before, but after getting quotes… I figured I’d just learn and do it myself (like I always do 🙃)

We’re starting with installing the GoBoard using thinset, and honestly… this part wasn’t bad at all 👀

These rollers actually make moving appliances SO much easier… once you figure out how to get them on there 😂

Laundry room makeover loading 👀

I gave this laundry room a makeover about 6 years

I gave this laundry room a makeover about 6 years ago when I was still learning DIY.

I used peel and stick tile for the backsplash because I was too intimidated to try real tile and definitely made a few mistakes along the way.

The peel and stick hasn’t held up well, so it’s time for an upgrade… this time with real tile.

I’ll be installing tile for the first time, so wish me luck 😅

I used the the same Modin LVP Stair Treads in Nakan Signature LVP from @shopflooret I already have upstairs and I LOVE IT. The black + wood combo? You can’t convince me it isn’t timeless.

I also love that it’s textured, so it doesn’t feel slippery, which actually matters on stairs.
